Anupama School of Nursing is conducting Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery Course and Established in the year 1998 . The Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery course is duly Recognised by the Karnataka state Nursing Council and the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.

COURSE: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
Duration:- 03 years with Six Semisters.

Eligibility:- Pass in 10 + 2/ PUC/ Intermediate/HSCC/HSE/Uchch Madhyam with any Group.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF SCHOOL OF NURSING

The School of Nursing aims at preparing students for the “A” Grade Certificate Examination in Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery conducted by Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board.
The main Objects of the Course are :-

  • To install and develop an aptitude for Nursing and to provide the necessary knowledge skill to give comprehensive nursing care to patients in all types of illness.
  • To develop skill in recognizing and interpreting intelligently the physical, mental and emotional manifestations of illness, and be able to plan individual nursing care to patients
  • To develop in the trainees personal, intellectual and professional qualities essential to be “Nurses Par Excellence”
  • To help the students work in mutual co-operation with medical and paramedical personnel and participate in various programs for prevention of diseases and the promotion of health in the community
  • To help the students integrate principles of mental hygiene and ethical and moral code involved in the practice of nursing.
  • To help the students practice and teach other the principles of healthy living.
  • To prepare students to be inter – dependent in their field of work and to become gradually independent and self- supporting financially after their training period.
  • To develop an individual to be sensitive to the rights of others and conscious of their duties and responsibilities to her own professional fellowmen and the country.
  • To help the students develop extra- curricular activities.
